there's something a bit uneasy about the mood of this photo - a kind of tension in the interaction of the people and dogs. or maybe i'm just suspicious.

Hoe jij er toch telkens weer in slaagt van een ogenschijnlijk banaal gegeven een knappe en hoogst intrigerende foto te maken... hoedje af Paultje! Jij hebt geen woorden nodig om je uit te drukken, je fotografie doet dat wel voor jou!

De vlag dekt de lading, er is veel te zien en je weet niet waar eerst gekeken.
Fascinerend tafereel is dit, heel mooi in beeld gebracht. Knap hoor!

I think Grant is right there is some unease and tension in this image and that is what makes it work so well. The dark sky is part of it and the terrific framing. To coordinate so many elements is difficult and you have made them convey something beyond the obvious.
